The software included in the PCTV9000 package requires that
you have video playback functionality within your computer.
The two most popluar video playback software utilities are
windows media player and realplayer. Most computer systems
today will already have one or both of these video playback
utilities installed, however if yours does not you can easily
download free versions of this software.
Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player 9 Series

Download
the latest available versions of the free RealPlayer.

Alernately you
may try the main RealPlayer website:
www.real.com/
Some of the files included in the
PCTV9000 package may require uncompressing or unzipping
in order to install on your computer, again most computer
systems today are already capable of these types of file
formats. There are several free zip programs available to
you should you need them.
Several free zip utilities can be found here:

Support Q and A
Q: I cannot download the installation
file, the installation file is corrupted, or otherwise does
not work.
A: Please make sure you are using Internet Explorer 5.5
or higher, or AOL7 or higher. Also disable any download
manager/accelerator applications as they are known to sometimes
interfere with downloads.
Q: I'm having issues with playback of
the channels. Help?
A: In an effort to correct or troubleshoot channel playback
issues please do the following:
1. Update your media players. You can access download links
to the latest media players from the top of this page
2. Make sure you are viewing channels that have advertised
bandwidth at or below the bandwidth available to your internet
connection.
3. Close or disable other programs that may be using your
internet connection.
4. Try the same channel again at a later time. Some channels
are not broadcast continuously or have reached their maximum
simultaneous user connections which are controlled by the
broadcasting server and not PCTV3000.
Q: I can't play Windows Media channels.
But I do have Windows Media Player installed.
A: Please update your media players to the most current
version.
